Covid-19 cases continue to decline in Armenia
YEREVAN, October 31. /ARKA/. Armenian health authorities recorded 142 new cases of coronavirus from October 24 to October 30, down from 231 new cases recorded a week earlier, the Ministry of Health reported.
It said three people died from COVID-19 during the reporting week (no such deaths were reported during the previous week).
According to the ministry, some 2,301 PCR tests were performed last week and 278 infected people recovered. A total of 373 COVID-19 infected citizens are still undergoing treatment.
Overall, 445,242 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the country so far and 434,288 of those infected have recovered. The death toll from the disease stands now at 8,709 people. The total number of PCR tests stands at 3,228,468.
According to the Health Ministry, 2,267,018 doses of coronavirus vaccines have been administered in Armenia, with 1,152,270 people receiving the first dose, 1,028,088 receiving the second dose, and 80,890 receiving the third, booster doze. -0-
