YEREVAN, July 25. /ARKA/. As of July 25, Armenian health authorities administered a total of 2,225,916 doses of Covid-19 vaccines, the Ministry of Health reported.

It said some 1,141,151 people received the first dose of the vaccine, 1,017,950 people received the second dose, and 62,007 citizens received the third, booster shot.

Armenian health authorities recorded also 965 new cases of Covid-19 from July 18 to 24, up from 629 recorded a week earlier. According to the Ministry, some 1,144 Covid-19 infected citizens are undergoing treatment now.

During the reporting week, 6,158 PCR tests were performed, 547 infected people recovered and 7 people died from the disease.

A total of 425,365 cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in the country during the entire pandemic, with 413,901 of those infected having recovered. The death toll fro0m the infection stands now at 8,633. A total of 3,154,685 coronavirus tests have been performed in the country. -0-
