Double murder occurred in Armenian Berd

An 87 year-old woman and her 57 year-old son were found killed, apparently by a knife, in their house in the town of Berd in Tavush province, Armenia’s Investigative Committee reported.
YEREVAN, December 24 /ARKA/. An 87 year-old woman and her 57 year-old son were found killed, apparently by a knife, in their house in the town of Berd in Tavush province, Armenia’s Investigative Committee reported.
It said the double murder occurred on December 24 overnight in the house on Utik Street. The murderer stabbed the mother and her son with a knife, who died of injuries.
A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of clause 1 of Part 2 of Article 104 (murder of two or more persons) of the Armenian Criminal Code.
The Investigative Committee said it is working to identify all the circumstances of the crime and the motives of the murderer. -0-
