Former president of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) Ruben Hayrapetyan came out of a police station in Yerevan and showed reporters a permission to have arms.

YEREVAN, February 4. /ARKA/. Former president of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) Ruben Hayrapetyan came out of a police station in Yerevan and showed reporters a permission to have arms.

Hayrapetyan was taken to the police station earlier today on suspicion of illegal possession of arms. He told reporters that he has one combat gun and two hunting rifles. Hayrapetyan claimed that his detention was a show designed to scare him and his associates.

Earlier it was reported that the Investigative Committee launched a criminal case involving Ruben Hayrapetyan, who was said to be facing charges of official negligence, which entailed grave consequences, misappropriation of large amount of money, falsification of documents by a group of persons and abuse of power. -0-
