French model agency to hold Elite Model Look casting in Armenia

YEREVAN, October 22. /ARKA/. Young Armenian girls are encouraged to participate in Elite Model Look International model contest’s casting in Yerevan, President of IC Model Management and Elite Model Look official representative in Armenia Ia Kitsmarishvili said, Novosti-Armenia reports.
“We intend to hold an official open casting of Elite Model Look Armenia tomorrow for all those who are interested in model business. We invite girls aged fr om 14 to 22,” Kitsmarishvili said Friday at International Press Center Novosti.
She also clarified that the casting participants are not required to have some work experience in model business.
She said the casting will be held from 12 pm at Shant TV studio, 21,Sevan street.
Those wishing to participate in the casting should wear shoes with heels.
Kitsmarishvili noted that the casting is a licensed project of Elite agency, and will be held in a format of the closed working event. Show and jury are not included into the casting program.
The casting results were announced on October 21, and as a result, several girls were sel ected to participate in the casting in Tbilisi, wh ere they will also meet with a special representatives of Elite Stephan Beskimore.
Tbilisi casting winners will have an opportunity to participate in the final, held in Shanghai, December 1. According to Kitsmarishvili three finalists of Elite Model Look in Shanghai will share 300,000 euros.
Model contests are different fr om beauty ones, as the models are selected on much stricter criteria than those for beauty contests, she clarified.
In reference to this, she also added that such parameters as 90-60-90 have already become outdated, and the most important factor for model agencies now is a model’s photogeneity.
Elite Model Look contest has been launched in 1983 by French agency Elite. Since then it has become the most prestigious model contest in the world. Elite Model Look revealed to the world such starts as Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Stephanie Seymour, Gisele Bundchen, Alessandra Ambrosio and many others.--0--
