From February 1, only short-term "90-minute" transport tickets will be available for purchase from terminals in Yerevan

YEREVAN, January 13. /ARKA/. Starting from February 1, only the "90-minute" ticket with a short-term QR code (valid for up to 90 minutes) will be available for purchase from terminals in Yerevan. This was announced by the city's mayor's office.
It was also noted that other ticket packages can be paid for using transport cards, bank cards, or through the TelCell Wallet app.
Currently, a single trip on a bus or metro in Yerevan costs 100 drams (about $0.25), while a trolleybus ride costs 50 drams.
About the Unified Ticket System
Since January 1, a unified ticket system has been in effect in Yerevan, which no longer allows cash payments on buses, trolleybuses, and the metro. Several payment methods are available: paper one-time tickets with a QR code (available at TelCell terminals), a mobile app, permanent travel cards, and bank cards.
From February 1, with the full launch of the unified ticket system, several fare plans will be available:
- 280 (300) drams - for a "90-minute" ticket (for 3 trips)
- 880 (900) drams - daily package (for 8 trips)
- 4,800 (5,000) drams - weekly package (for 30 trips)
- 8,800 (9,000) drams - monthly package (unlimited trips)
- 23,600 (24,000) drams - 90-day package (unlimited trips)
- 88,800 (90,000) drams - annual package (365 days, unlimited trips)
The first figure is the cost of online tickets, while the number in parentheses is the fare for a travel card on a physical medium. When purchasing any fare package, citizens will be able to use all types of public transport — buses, metro, and trolleybuses.
