YEREVAN, November 25. /ARKA/. Vladimir Spivakov's charity concerts in Armenia are sponsored exclusively by Ardshinbank and GeoProMining (GPM) Company, GPM press service reported.

Ahead of his visit to Armenia the famous conductor, friend of the Armenian people Vladimir Spivakov sent a greeting message to his Armenian audience that particularly read as follows: "Dear friends, Armenia has long been my home. I have visited Armenia many times as a soloist and conductor, with the Moscow Virtuosi and the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia. My family has always been by your side in joy and sorrow. Armenia has been going through a difficult time in recent years. Your pain resonates in my heart, so it is important for me to support you in whatever way I can! We will be holding three concerts: two in Yerevan and one in my beloved city of Gyumri. The first of the three concerts will be for the wounded soldiers who are undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at the Soldier's Home in Yerevan. Those of them who are able to reach the Philharmonic Hall will go to the concert and the program will be designed specially for them. The remaining seats will be sold out and the proceeds will go to the Soldiers Home. There are fellow travelers and there are friends. We are friends. Always have been and always will be. Your Vladimir Spivakov. ‘

Vladimir Spivakov's November 27th concert kicks off a new project of the Soldier's Home- Armenia 301- designed to unite and consolidate all Armenians around the Soldier's Home, to continue to help, support, provide for the well being and future of soldiers wounded in defense of their homeland.

The Armenia 301 project is based on Martiros Saryan's painting "Armenia", which 100 years ago was a symbol of hope, faith, radiance, unity and a message for our nation in hardship.

YSMU Rector and co-founder of the Soldier ‘s Home Armen Muradyan expressed his gratitude to Vladimir Spivakov, a friend of the Armenian people, for once again supporting the Armenian people.

"On behalf of the Soldier's Home, all the soldiers, and Haikuhi Minasyan, I want to thank Maestro Spivakov for such a beautiful humanitarian move. Standing by the Armenian soldier and supporting this charitable act means being not only a great friend of the Armenian people, but a truly great humanitarian. It is no coincidence that this charity concert is the start of the Armenia 301 program of the Soldier's Home. The purpose of this program is to unite all Armenians and friends of the Armenian nation around the Soldier's Home to support and ensure the wellbeing of the wounded soldiers. So let's do it, for the benefit of the defenders of the homeland," says Armen Muradyan.

Ardshinbank is the exclusive sponsor of the charitable concert on November 27 dedicated to Soldier's Home. Artak Ananyan, the chairman of the bank's board, speaking about the projects implemented with Soldier's Home for several years, stresses the importance of continuing cooperation.

"This is a great social project. Today's event is another contribution of the bank within the framework of cooperation with the rehabilitation center. We express our gratitude to Maestro Spivakov, who has been supporting the Armenian people with his activities for many years," says Artak Ananyan.

The Soldier's Home’ invites all Armenians and friends of the Armenian people to unite around Saryan's painting, to jointly "create" a copy of the painting, thus becoming a participant in the cause of building a prosperous future for the defenders of the homeland.

During this concert, the Russian National Philharmonic Orchestra will perform works by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Aram Khachatryan, Gioacchino Rossini, Vincenzo Bellini, Giacomo Puccini, and Ernesto de Curtis.

Anna Aglatova, a famous soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Armenian descent, will perform as a soloist with the orchestra.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the rehabilitation center Soldier's Home.

GeoProMining is an exclusive sponsor of the concert, which will take place on November 28. The audience will be presented the Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 2 by S. Rachmaninov and Symphony No. 5 by P. Tchaikovsky, the soloist is the winner of international competitions Alexander Klyuchko (piano). These works by Russian composers are among the most impressive works of world music.

According to GeoProMining's official representative in Armenia Ruzanna Grigoryan, this project has a deep humanitarian and social meaning.

"We are honored to become a partner in a cultural project that has deep humanitarian and social meaning. Culture is impossible without charity, because charity is part of culture. Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff are the international language of music and culture. We often say that culture is our most competitive sphere, able to bring us to the world level. It is meetings like this that serve as a bridge to the country's honor, to the world's great crossroads, where there is a mutual influence. In general, the promotion of classical music is an investment in the development of the civilization code of a nation," she said.

Vladimir Spivakov's visit to Armenia without visiting Gyumri was impossible. After all, back in 1989 when he came to Gyumri (then Leninakan) he promised that he would return and he keeps that promise to this day.

The concert, which will be held on November 29 at the Vardan Atchemyan State Drama Theater, will include selections from Pyotr Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin" opera, "Swan Lake" and "The Nutcracker" ballets and Aram Khachatryan's "Masquerade" suite for the Lermontov drama.

This musical fireworks display was made possible thanks to the efforts of "Arvest23" and the charity fund NFOR. The organizer of the concert in Gyumri is the Armenian Society for Cultural Cooperation with Foreign Countries.

Tickets can be purchased through Tomsarkgh.am and at the box offices of the Aram Khachatryan Concert Hall. -0-
