Government auctions 704 vehicles in two years

As part of a plan of actions to streamline its spending the Armenian government allowed today the State Property Management Department to auction another 33 vehicles used for official use by government agencies.
YEREVAN, December 28. /ARKA/. As part of a plan of actions to streamline its spending the Armenian government allowed today the State Property Management Department to auction another 33 vehicles used for official use by government agencies.
The head of the State Property Management Department Arman Sahakyan said that a total of 704 such vehicles have been auctioned in 2016 and 2017, including 456 cars in this year alone.
"Most of these vehicles were auctioned at prices that were 117% higher than their starting prices," Sahakyan said. -0-
