Head of Armenian company prosecuted on charge of smuggling

Armenian prosecutors have charged Vahe Hovhannisyan, head of UNIPOOL LLC, with smuggling products of Poland’s Kerakoll Superior Building Technology Company into Armenia.
YEREVAN, March 11. /ARKA/. Armenian prosecutors have charged Vahe Hovhannisyan, head of UNIPOOL LLC, with smuggling products of Poland’s Kerakoll Superior Building Technology Company into Armenia.
Armenian Prosecutor Office’s press service reported today that Hovhannisyan imported glue for tiles, substance for filling in slits between tiles and latexed glue worth €13,766.90, but he declared their cost at €5,655.35 or AMD 7,359.234, including shipment expenses to Armenia’s border of AMD 898,696. Customs cost of the declared goods amounted to AMD 3,921,825 instead of AMD 8,257,930.
It means that the wrongdoer would gain 4,336,105 drams of which 1,342,024 in extra customs payment that includes VAT and fine. He will be tried by Malatia-Sebastia First-Instance Court. -0-
