Health minister orders recall of antispasmodic medicine

Armenia’s acting Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan ordered a recall of an antispasmodic medicine called ‘Spazmalgon’ (500 mg + 5 mg + 0.1 mg pills produced by the Serbian pharmaceutical company Zdravle) from all pharmacies.
YEREVAN, November 21. /ARKA/. Armenia’s acting Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan ordered a recall of an antispasmodic medicine called ‘Spazmalgon’ (500 mg + 5 mg + 0.1 mg pills produced by the Serbian pharmaceutical company Zdravle) from all pharmacies.
The press service of the ministry said all batches of the medicine with expiration date until December 2019 are being recalled. It specified that this medicine was not registered in Armenia.
The company that imported this medicine n was told to recall all batches of the drug supplied to the pharmacies and medical organizations.
Antispasmodic is an anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic medicine. -0-
