Health Ministry and Yerevan Municipality to hold Vaccination Day

YEREVAN, October 22. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Ministry of Health and the Yerevan Municipality are organizing the Vaccination day on Sunday, October 24.

The Yerevan Municipality said on the Vaccination Day, mobile vaccination points will be deployed on Freedom Square (near Opera and Ballet Theater) with doctors from the medical center Grigor Narekatsi, polyclinic N20 and children's polyclinic Arabkir.

The mobile points will operate from 11 00 until 18.00.

In Armenia, vaccinations are free and available at any clinic in the country 7 days a week for people over 18 years old, including foreigners.

The following vaccines are available: CoronaVac and Sinofarm (China), AstraZeneka (Britain, Sweden), Sputnik V (Russia) and Spikevax (USA).

According to the Ministry of Health, as of October 17, some 588 385 vaccines were administered in the country with some 403 431 people receiving the first dose of the vaccine and 184 954 receiving both. -0-
