High fire danger is expected over the next five days in Ararat and Syunik provinces, warned the Armenian Ministry of Environment on Facebook.

YEREVAN, July 11. /ARKA/. High fire danger is expected over the next five days in Ararat and Syunik provinces, warned the Armenian Ministry of Environment on Facebook.
“In order to avoid possible fires and their unpredictable consequences, we urge everyone to strictly observe fire safety regulations,” the ministry said.
The ministry also reminded that in forest areas it is prohibited to light fires, throw burning matches or cigarette butts, leave rags soaked in oil or gasoline, refuel a car with the engine running, or smoke near refueling vehicles.
“Bonfires are only allowed in specially designated areas, and must be extinguished at the end,” the ministry said. -0-
