YEREVAN, June 2. /ARKA/. A man was shot dead today on the downtown Abovyan Street in Yerevan in broad daylight near the Moskva Cinema, Novosti Armenia news agency reported.

It said the murder was confirmed by Edgar Banyan, a press officer for the Armenian Police. He said police investigators were working on the crime scene to find out the circumstances.

MP Naira Zohrabyan said on her Facebook page that shots were heard on Abovyan Street. On Monday, the brother of a crime boss Don Pipo was shot dead in Armenia. -0-
