Mayor's Office warns heavy snowfall in Yerevan may disrupt daily life

YEREVAN, February 19. /ARKA/. Heavy snowfall is expected in Yerevan on February 20-21, which may disrupt road traffic, visibility and daily life, the Yerevan Mayor's Office said.
It assured that the relevant public utilities, including those in the administrative districts of the capital , will be fully involved in snow removal activities.
The Mayor's Office also reminded that according to the decision of the Council of Elders, business entities are obliged to clear the areas adjacent to their properties, while condominiums are obliged to clean areas in front of residential buldings' entrances.
According to the National Weather Service, , snow is expected in the afternoon of February 19 and on February 20-23 throughout the country, with heavy snowfalls on Thursday and Friday.
The air temperature on February 20-22 will gradually drop by 10-14 degrees both at night and during the day. The daytime temperature in the capital on February 21-23 will drop to 2-3 degrees Celsius below zero. -0-
