YEREVAN, August 7. /ARKA/. The governor of the northern Armenian province of Lori, the mayor of Vanadzor, the administrative capital of the province and officials of the State Food Safety Service checked the sanitary conditions in the town's meat stores.
According to the State Food Safety Service, all the stores had refrigerators, hot and cold running water, relevant supporting documents, and favorable sanitary and hygienic conditions.
“Consistency is the most important condition for achieving success in our work. If the stores do not meet the established standards, their activities will suspended,” the agency said.
The breaches revealed during the checks include lack of health books for butchers, inadequate hygiene of meat grinders, lack of appropriate clothing, and so on. A deadline has been set to address these omissions.-0—
