YEREVAN, May 25. /ARKA/. Armenia’s military prosecutors have pledged to make an inquiry into media reports saying that canned dry food produced specifically for Armenian armed forces are being sold by a Polish store.

"Following a discussion involving officials from the Military Prosecutor’s Office, Ministry of Defense and Armenian Embassy in Poland, the Armenian ambassador has sent an official letter to Polish prosecutors requesting to verify reports claiming that canned dry rations for Armenian army are being sold at a store in Polish Bielsko-Biala town,"  the press service of the Armenian Prosecutor General's Office said today.

It said Armenian law enforcement agencies are trying to identify the source that sold the dry rations to Polis store and, if necessary, to start legal processes.

The first report with a string of photos was posted in Facebook by Armenian lawyer Gagik Galikyan. According to him, the cost of the ration together with military clothing is about $160. -- 0--
