More than 18,700 real estate transactions completed in Armenia in August

YEREVAN, October 9. /ARKA/. In August 2025, some 18,780 real estate transactions were completed in Armenia, compared to 20,178 transactions in August 2024 and 21,138 transactions in July 2025., according to data from the Statistical Committee.

The highest number of transactions during the reporting month were in Yerevan – 5,508 (29.3% of the total), while the lowest number were in Vayots Dzor – 284 (1.5%).

Real estate alienation transactions predominated in the overall structure – 7,202 (38.3% of the total), including 4,542 purchase and sale transactions, 2,400 gift transactions, and 44 exchange transactions.

In addition, 3,089 inheritance transactions (16.4%), 2,949 primary registration transactions (15.7% of the total), 2,797 mortgage transactions (14.9%), 1,756 re-registration transactions (9.4%), 863 lease transactions (4.6%), and 124 legalization transactions (0.7%) were completed.

Moreover, in August, the largest number of real estate transactions in the country involved land – 6,881 (36.6%). In the reporting month of this year, 5,171 transactions were completed involving apartments in multi-apartment buildings (27.5%), 4,259 transactions were completed involving residential buildings (22.8%), 1,399 transactions were completed involving public buildings (7.4%), 726 transactions were completed involving garages (3.9%), and 344 transactions were completed involving industrial buildings (1.8%).-0-
