YEREVAN, January 17. /ARKA/.  More than 30-40 shells and bullets were found in the walls of an apartment in Yerevan, in which Georgy Kutoyan, who headed Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) in the final years of former President Serzh Sargsyan, was found  shot to death.

Arthur Melikyan, the head of a department of the Investigative Committee, investigating serious crimes, said a Glock gun was found next to Kutoyan's dead body. Investigators found out that the gun was obtained legally.

Melikyan said a criminal case was opened into the death of Kutoyan . "possibly, it’s either a murder or a murder, rigged up as suicide,' he said.

He said there was a gunshot wound in the area of the temple of the man, and tomorrow, during the medical examination, it would be possible to establish the number and nature of bodily injuries.

When asked whether the bullets were fired from the pistol, found in the room Melikyan said that the answer to this question can only be obtained after receiving the results of a ballistic examination.Melikyan also said the forensic examination will  find out whether alcohol was in Kutoyan's blood. –0--
