YEREVAN, August 5 /ARKA/. A portable mammography will enable women in three regions of Armenia to undergo breast screening soon for the prevention and early detection of breast cancer, Health Minister Arsen Torosyan wrote in a Facebook post.

He said under a relevant agreement women aged 50-69 in Tavush, Syunik and Lori regions will undergo a free mammographic examination.

According to him, the screening will be carried out as part pf a grant program for the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases in the primary level, financed by the government of Armenia and the Eurasian Foundation for Stabilization and Development. -0-
