Multi Group CEO Sedrak Arustamyan has been charged with seizure of state or community land plots, continuing illegal construction and refusing to destroy it. A recognizance not to leave was taken from him. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee.

According to the Investigative Committee, as part of the investigation launched into these offences, it has become known that in 2017 and 2018 Multi Group received a permission to build a hotel complex on Abovyan Street. During the construction of the building, the Multi Group CEO did not follow the requirements of the law. On April 3, 2018, administrative proceedings were launched, and on May 2 of the same year, he was fined 200,000 drams. The CEO was notified of the need to stop construction work, but he continued in a defiance of the warning clear breach of the law.
On June 7, 2018, another protocol was drawn up, and on June 27 of the same year, a fine of 2.5 million drams was imposed on the director.
The criminal case was sent to the prosecutor's office to confirm the final conclusion with a motion for referral to the court.
Earlier, Arustamyan was charged with gross money laundering, complicity in false entrepreneurship and evasion of taxes, duties or other obligatory payments in the course of the development and implementation of the North-South Road Corridor program. -0---
