New apartments to be built for Armenian civil servants

YEREVAN, June 4. /ARKA/. The acting head of the Armenian Urban Development Committee Armen Ghularyan told a cabinet meeting today that the ML Mining developer will sold 345 apartments in a residential complex it is building in Yerevan to civil servants.
He said the construction will start in the coming days and the residential buildings will be commissioned in 2023 in two stages: 200 apartments by April 2023, and the remaining 145 by August 2023.
According to Ghularyan, the government does not bear any financial obligations and only acts as an organizer and controller.
According to him, the beneficiaries of the program are public servants residing in Yerevan, employees of the Permanent Mission of Artsakh in Armenia, diplomats deployed currently abroad and employees of state non-profit organizations.
The cost of housing is 345 thousand drams per 1 square meter with repair and 310 thousand drams without repair. Parking space will cost 2.5 million drams with an advance payment of 10%. Loan repayment period is until the retirement age, but not more than 20 years. The effective loan interest rate in drams is 10%.
The apartments and parking lots will be distributed by lottery. ($ 1 - 482.38 dram). –0--
