YEREVAN, October 10. /ARKA/. Armenian health authorities recorded 697 new cases of coronavirus from October 3 to 9, down from 910 new cases recorded a week earlier, the Ministry of Health reported.

It said nine people died from Covid-19 during the reporting week, up from 8 Covid-19 deaths reported for the previous week.

According to the ministry, 4,214 PCR tests were performed last week and 1,251 people recovered. A total of 1,116 Covid-19 infected people are still undergoing treatment.

Overall, 444,482 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Armenia and 432,811 of the infected have recovered. The coronavirus killed 8,700 people.

Also, since the start of the pandemic 3,220,025 PCR tests have been carried out. According to the ministry, some 2,260,219 coronavirus vaccinations have been administered in Armenia, with 1,150,596 people receiving the first dose, 1,025,351 receiving the second dose, and 77,842 receiving the third booster doze. -0-
