Novosti-Armenia news agency launches Telegram Channel in Armenian

YEREVAN, June 25. /ARKA/. The Novosti-Armenia International Information Agency has launched a new Telegram channel in Armenian — @newsarmenia_am— to make high-quality and up-to-date news even more accessible to the Armenian-speaking audience within the country and beyond.

The new channel publishes brief and reliable reports in Armenian on a daily basis about key events in Armenia, the region, and the world. The launch of the project is part of the agency’s strategy to expand its multilingual presence in the digital environment and strengthen ties with the Armenian diaspora.

“We are launching an Armenian-language channel to speak to our readers in their native language simply, promptly, and to the point. This is especially important for the diaspora, where there is an urgent need for reliable information from Armenia. We want our compatriots to feel closer to home — wherever they are,” said Galina Davidyan, director of the agency.

The new Telegram channel will be an addition to the Russian-language news feed and will be of interest to a wide audience that prefers to consume information in Armenian in a convenient and concise format.
