On Thursday, 351 schoolchildren in Armenia - 142 in Yerevan and 209 in provinces - were not allowed to attend schools to prevent the spread of acute respiratory infections, the press office of the country's health ministry reports.

According to the ministry's press release, the rate of children missing school lessons for this reason was 7.1% on February 17, while now only 4.4% of schoolchildren don't attend schools.
In its press release, the ministry stressed that control over the situation continues, and monitoring shows that the number emergency ambulance calls has shrunk.
Despite the fact that things are increasingly getting stable, the hot season is still not over at Yerevan hospitals, and 91.7% of patients are children under 18. -0---
