YEREVAN, June 6. /ARKA/. Rains and thunderstorms are expected in Armenia this week, Armenia's National Weather Service reported.

According to the forecasters, on June 6-10 occasional showers with thunderstorms are expected in most regions after noon. Hail is also expected in some areas.

The wind is coming from the southwest with gusts of 2-5 m/s. They may accelerate to 15-20 m/ during the thunderstorm. The temperatures will rise gradually by 1-2 degrees.

Precipitation is not expected in Yerevan on June 6-7 and June 10. On June 8-9, short rains with thunderstorms are expected in the evening hours in some parts of the city, the wind will increase to 15-18m/sec. --0--
