Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with World Health Organization Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on the latter’s initiative.

YEREVAN, May 6. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with World Health Organization Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on the latter’s initiative.
The Prime Minister of Armenia presented the situation with the coronavirus in our country and the government’s response to COVID-19. The interlocutors exchanged views on the global situation caused by the pandemic, the government press office reported.
It said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the activities implemented by the World Health Organization in the current situation.
The parties also discussed the prospects of cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the World Health Organization.
Armenia's confirmed coronavirus cases have grown to 2,782 in the past 24 hours. Some 1.135 people are said to have recovered and 40 people, the bulk with pre-existing conditions, have died. -0-
