YEREVAN, April 19. /ARKA/. During a live Facebook broadcasting today Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in response to a user’s question that a mortgage lending program for repatriates is being developed jointly with the Central Bank of Armenia.
"A lot of work has been done. In the near future, the government will officially launch the mortgage lending program for repatriates. Loans will be provided on favorable terms for those who have decided to return to their homeland and who meet certain criteria," he said.
The user also asked the prime minister whether Armenian citizens working in Russia can seek mortgage lending in their homeland.
"There are no obstacles to the provision of mortgage lending to Armenian citizens working in Russia or Europe. The terms are the same for all Armenian citizens," the premier said. -0-
