Police officer in Yerevan killed by 16 year-old boy

Armenian law-enforcement authorities have tracked down and arrested today two young men, born in 2001 and 2003, who are suspected of killing a police officer in the early hours of today's morning and heavily injuring another one.
YEREVAN, September 16. /ARKA/ Armenian law-enforcement authorities have tracked down and arrested today two young men, born in 2001 and 2003, who are suspected of killing a police officer in the early hours of today's morning and heavily injuring another one.
The incident occurred in a Yerevan borough known as Monument. According to a police report, an October 16, at 04:20, two policemen were brought to Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center- Tigran Arakelyan (born in 1981) who died of a gunshot wound to the left forearm and A. Hakobyan (born in 1994) with an injury in the upper part of the skull.
The police said the detained men appear to be brothers. A preliminary investigation revealed that the brothers committed a theft from beauty salons in the Arabkir administrative district several hours before the incident, after which they were spotted by the police officers near Victory Park. Police officers chased them and caught on Azatutyun Avenue. The brothers tried to escape, during the brawl one of them snatched the gun of one of the police officers and hit Hakobyan in the head and shot Arakelyan in the left forearm, who died from the damage.
A criminal cases has been launched under clause 3 of part 2 of article 177 (theft committed with unlawful entry into a home, storage or premises) and part 1 of article 185 (deliberate destruction or damage to property) of the Criminal Code of Armenia. The preliminary investigation found that the brothers hid the stolen things under one of the bridges.
The brothers are also accused of theft or extortion of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices, use of violence against a government official and homicide. -0-
