Police revise exams for obtaining driver's license
YEREVAN, January 19. /ARKA/. The Armenian police said today according to the new procedure established by the Armenian government, theoretical examinations (tests to find out the applicant's ability to understand official devices used to control traffic) for obtaining a driver's license in addition to the Armenian language, will be available also in English, Russian, Persian and Arabic.
They said the number of test questions has been increased from 10 to 20 and the exam duration has been increased from 15 minutes to 30 minutes.
Citizens of Armenia applying for obtaining or replacing a driver's license, or obtaining a duplicate must present an identity document; foreign citizens - an identity document and a document confirming legal residence in Armenia - a residence permit; stateless persons - a travel document issued by a foreign state, a document confirming the legal residence in Armenia or a residence permit; refugees and persons who have received the right to political asylum - a conventional travel document; asylum seekers - identity card of the asylum seeker; refugees who have received temporary protection - a certificate of temporary asylum. -0-
