Population census was launched in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic on Tuesday, Azat Artsakh reports.
STEPANAKERT, December 1. /ARKA/. The Nagorno-Karabakh population census was launched on Tuesday, Azat Artsakh reports.
According to the newspaper, nine census, 99 instructor and 527 counting centers are set for conducting the second census since Nagorno-Karabakh Republic declared its independence in 1992.
Some 749 people were temporarily employed for organization of the census.
The census paper contains 55 questions, of which 33 are key questions and 22 relate to property and income.
Preliminary results will be released to public in April 2016 and final results by the end of the year.
The first census after independence declaration was conducted in 2005. The then population totaled 137, 737. --0----
