A pregnant woman has died in Armenia from Covid-19, the press secretary of the Ministry of Health Hripsime Khachatryan told Novosti-Armenia news agency.

YEREVAN, April 21. /ARKA/. A pregnant woman has died in Armenia from Covid-19, the press secretary of the Ministry of Health Hripsime Khachatryan told Novosti-Armenia news agency.

“Unfortunately, the woman’s life could not be saved, because she turned to doctors too late,” Khachatryan said.

She said that the Ministry of Health once again calls for vigilance and warns, especially pregnant women, against home self-medicating.

Khachatryan did not provide other details of the incident. According to media reports, the woman was 34 years old. That was her second pregnancy, she already had a small child. -0-
