Sati Spivakova - goodwill ambassador of the "City of Smiles" foundation

YEREVAN. April 4. /ARKA/. The April 5-6 performance of the play "Canary" with Sati SPIVAKOVA in the title role in Yerevan as part of the first tour visit of the flagship Moscow Theater of Nations to Armenia, is a large-scale project, which includes not only cultural, but also social and humanitarian messages.

On April 3 Sati SPIVAKOVA was the guest of the City of Smile Foundation, which supports children and young people under 25 with oncological and hematological diseases. The initiative of this humanitarian action belongs to GeoProMining Gold Company, the co-organizer of the tour and a long-time donor of the City of Smile Foundation,.

Sati SPIVAKOVA visited the children's department of Professor Yolyan Hematology and Oncology Center, met with the management of the Foundation headed by Director Esther Demirchyan and parents of the children-beneficiaries.

The main goal of this humanitarian mission was to organize a real holiday for the children undergoing treatment. Numerous surprises were waiting for the little patients - a performance of a mobile puppet theater, a show of balloons, gifts from the high guest, who showed an individual approach to literally every child treated in the department.

At the finale of this charity event, Sati SPIVAKOVA was declared a Goodwill Ambassador of the City of Smiles Foundation.

"When our negotiations for this tour began, I realized that Mrs. Spivakova has a great desire to help Armenia in any way she can. And when I proposed to visit the "City of Smiles", she not only expressed her readiness, but said that it would be the first thing she would do when she comes to Yerevan, and then she would donate the collection from the performance to the Foundation. The history of cooperation between our company and the Foundation goes back many years, and during this time it has grown into a real friendship. It is not only financial injections. During these years we have already formed many good traditions - children with cancer are under our close attention, we regularly organize different events for them, we try to give them a holiday as often as possible. Thank you to Sati Spivakova, who joined our ranks today. I am sure that by contributing financially and morally we will be able to make this world a little bit kinder and brighter," said Ruzanna Grigoryan, the official representative of GPM Gold.
