Second Rubeola infection case reported in Armenia

The second case of Rubeola infection was reported in Armenia on Wednesday, the press office of the country’s health ministry reports. A Rubeola-infected person arrived on February 20 in Armenia through Georgia’s territory. Clinical symptoms became visible on February 25 and 26, which were initially explained as intolerance to drugs, but later, on March 6, laboratory examination diagnosed Rubeola disease.

A Rubeola-infected person arrived on February 20 in Armenia through Georgia’s territory. According to the health ministry, the first Rubeola infection was found in Armenia at a Ukraine citizen, who arrived in Yerevan by an aircraft from Kiev on February 24.
Both infected persons have had contacts with many people, particularly with those who were in the airport’s lounge and in the hospital. --0---
