Stationery goods prices do not rise
YEREVAN, 16 August. /ARKA. Prices of stationery goods have not risen ahead of a new schooling year in Armenia, according to Armen Poghosyan, head of  the Association of Consumers.

"However, prices of other items which schoolchildren need-  for example, bags, clothing, sports equipment - have risen by 5% already’ and by 13% if we compare current prices with those in 2013,’  Pogosyan told a news conference today.

"According to our research, an  average family  will have to spend 50,000 drams ( over $100) on school  items. Wealthy families, constituting 10-12% of the population, spend 200 thousand drams, " said Poghosyan. -0-
