Stringent restrictions on people’s movement in Armenia to be prolonged at least for another ten days, Armenian Prime Minister says

The stringent restrictions on people’s movement and the ban on several types of economic activity, which are part of the state of emergency, will be prolonged at least for another ten days, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Tuesday during a live Facebookbroadcasting.

YEREVAN, March 31. /ARKA/. The stringent restrictions on people’s movement and the ban on several types of economic activity, which are part of the state of emergency, will be prolonged at least for another ten days, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Tuesday during a live Facebookbroadcasting.
He said the reason is the growing number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection. He added that at the moment 499 citizens continue to receive treatment.
On March 16 the government of Armenia declared a 30-day state of emergency to stop the spread of coronavirus. As of March 31, 532 cases of coronavirus were confirmed, 30 people recovered and three patients died. -0-
