Swans back to “Swan Lake” in Yerevan

YEREVAN, June 1. /ARKA/. Swans are back to The Swan Lake in Yerevan, near the Liberty Square.

The press office of the Yerevan municipality reports that the swans have been put in the lake in honor of International Children’s Day.

“The swans will be living in the lake until the end of the season. Yerevan Zoo’s specialists will be the ones to feed and take care of them”, says the report.

The Zoo staff urges Yerevan residents and the guests of the capital to refrain from feeding the swans. Plates with similar request are installed at the lake.

The Swan Lake is a popular recreation site in Yerevan both in summer and in winter when a skating rink is built on the lake. -0-
