Short rains with thunderstorms are expected on April 28 in some parts of Armenia, and in most parts on April 29-30 as well as on May 1-2, the National Weather Service reported today, adding that hailstorms are possible in some regions.
YEREVAN, April 28. /ARKA/. Short rains with thunderstorms are expected on April 28 in some parts of Armenia, and in most parts on April 29-30 as well as on May 1-2, the National Weather Service reported today, adding that hailstorms are possible in some regions.
The southwestern winds’ speed will be 3-5 m/s. It may accelerate to 15-20 m/s during the thunderstorms. The temperatures are expected to drop by 3-5 degrees Celsius on April 30.
Occasional rains are possible in the capital Yerevan daily up to May 3. The temperature in the capital on Friday afternoon will rise to 21-23 degrees and drop to 13-15 degrees on Sunday and rise slightly to 15-17 degrees on Monday and Tuesday. -0-
