Temperature in Armenia to rise by 8-10 degrees Celsius
YEREVAN, March 28. /ARKA/. Penetration of warm air streams from tropical latitudes will lead to a gradual rise in temperature in Armenia by 8-10 degrees Celsius from March 29 to April 1, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reported.
On April 1, daytime temperatures will warm up to 20-22 degrees Celsius in valley regions, including the capital Yerevan.
Clear weather is expected on March 29, March 30 night, March 31 and April 1-2. Rain and thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the country on April 30 at night.
The wind is southwesterly at a speed of 2-5 m/s. On March 30 in the afternoon in some areas wind gusts may reach 16-20 m/s.
In the afternoon of March 30, short thunderstorm rain is forecasted in Yerevan. On Friday afternoon the temperature in Yerevan will be 15-17 degrees Celsius, while on April 1 and 2 it will warm up to 20-22 degrees Celsius. -0-
