Temperatures in Armenia to surge to 38 degrees Celsius

YEREVAN, June 1. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center said light rains with thunderstorms are expected in some parts of the country on June 1-5 afternoon, saying also that hailstorms are possible as well.
The southwestern winds’ speed will be 2-5 m/s. During thunderstorms it may accelerate to 15-20 m/s. The temperatures across the country will rise gradually by 4-6 degrees on June 2-5. Light rains are also possible in Yerevan in the evening hours of June 1-5.
The temperature in the capital Yerevan on Wednesday afternoon will rise to 30-32 degrees Celsius and to 34-36 degrees the next few days.
The hottest day will be the next Tuesday afternoon in Vayots Dzor, Syunik, Ararat and Armavir provinces where temperatures will surge to 35-38 degrees -0-
