YEREVAN, May 24. /ARKA/. Short rains and thunderstorms are expected in the capital Yerevan and some other parts of Armenia on May 24-28, the National Weather Service said.

It said also that hailstorms are possible in some areas. The southwestern winds will be blowing with gusts of 2-5 m/s. The speed is likely to accelerate to 15-20 m/s during thunderstorms.

The daytime temperature will rise by 4-6 degrees on May 24. The temperature in Yerevan on Wednesday afternoon will rise to 26-28 degrees Celsius. During the next four days the temperature will fluctuate within 25-29 degrees. -0-
