Two more cases of anthrax recorded in Armenia

Two more case of anthrax were recorded in Armenia, in Akunk of Gegharkunik region and Zovuni of Kotayk region, press secretary of the state food safety service of Armenian Ministry of Agriculture Babken Pipoyan told “Zhoghovurd” (People) daily newspaper.
YEREVAN, November 21. /ARKA/. Two more case of anthrax were recorded in Armenia, in Akunk of Gegharkunik region and Zovuni of Kotayk region, press secretary of the state food safety service of Armenian Ministry of Agriculture Babken Pipoyan told “Zhoghovurd” (People) daily newspaper.
Earlier, anthrax infection was reported in the town of Hrazdan.
Mayor of Hrazdan Aram Danielyan told reporters that results of the laboratory analysis for an animal from Kochor district of Hrazdan are expected to be ready within a few next days.
“But we have not had neither diseased people, nor loss of cattle,” Danielian said.-0-
