YEREVAN, November 27. /ARKA/. A unified fare payment system was launched at Yerevan Metro (subway), Acting Metro Director Babken Sedrakyan said today.

He told a meeting of the Council of Elders (municipal assembly) that about 20 payment terminals and validators have been installed at 10 stations for contactless payment of fare.

The Yerevan Metro launched in 1981 runs on a 13.4 kilometer line and currently serves 10 active stations. -0-
