YEREVAN, September 28, /ARKA/. Republic of Ireland beat Armenia in their final group game, with Robbie Brady scoring a 91st-minute penalty after the visitors had staged a two-goal comeback in Dublin on Tuesday.

Jon Egan and Michael Obafemi had put Stephen Kenny's side in a commanding position at the Aviva Stadium.

But two goals in the space of three minutes levelled the game as Artak Dashyan (71) and Eduard Spertsyan (73) both scored from distance.

Referee Rade Obrenovic awarded the hosts a penalty for a handball by Dashyan.

The first game was won by the Armenian team 1-0. The Armenian team with 3 points is at the bottom in the first group of League B and is relegated to League C. -0-
