Electronic version of daily newspaper Yerkir.am got connected to the first national information system in Armenia www.mediagid.am, Head of the Project MediaGid.am Armen Martirosyan informed to news agency “ARKA”.
YEREVAN, January 13. /ARKA/. Electronic version of daily newspaper Yerkir.am got connected to the first national information system in Armenia www.mediagid.am, Head of the Project MediaGid.am Armen Martirosyan informed to news agency “ARKA”.
On November 30, 2010, All Media cjsc launched a new Internet project – the first news aggregator in Armenia www.mediagid.am.
This is already 12th mass media participating in the system and the third which joined the aggregator after its launch.
“Today another 14 Armenian information resources submitted applications for participation in the system, five of which are already in the phase of technical agreement of information flows for getting connected to the aggregator”, said Martirosyan.
The companies submitting applications for participation in the system undergo detailed selection process, particularly related to own content.
Electronic version of daily newspaper Yerkir.am is issued since 2002. Its printed version is being published since 1991.
MediaGid is a system of automatic processing and handling of news items, which are analyzed by a special program uniting news and stories on similar topics, divided by categories. News items are provided by partner systems – Armenian mass media, the main principles of the system are timely reporting, accessibility and impartiality.
www.mediagid.am, currently receives about 1200 news items daily in Armenian, Russian and English. The stories are updated daily.
MediaGid has developed a special partnership program for mass media outlets to help them increase and enlarge the number of visits to their resources. The program is open to all information agencies, printed mass media, TV and Radio websites and other online publications.
All Media closed joint stock company was founded in 2010 to help implement venture projects. The company’s interests comprise also Internet marketing, Internet advertisement, PR, development and promotion of websites, context ads, auditing of websites and consulting. -0-
