Armenia and the United States Conclude Negotiations on Peaceful Nuclear Energy Cooperation
YEREVAN, February 9. /ARКА/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and US Vice President J.D. Vance signed a joint statement in Yerevan concluding negotiations on a cooperation agreement between the governments of Armenia and the United States on the peaceful uses of nuclear energy.
"This agreement will open a new chapter in the deepening energy partnership between Armenia and the United States, will contribute to the diversification of Armenia's energy resources, and will attract safe and innovative technologies," Pashinyan said.
The Prime Minister added that he also expressed gratitude to the United States for its long-standing support to Armenia in the field of nuclear safety and expressed his readiness to further develop cooperation in the areas of greatest importance to both countries.
