YEREVAN, June 28, /ARKA/ Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a consultative meeting on June 27 to review the implementation of the Caucasian Power Transmission Network Program (Armenia-Georgia Transmission Line - Substations), the government press office said.

It said the meeting discussed issues related to the 400/220/10 kV Ddmashen substation, the 400/500 kV overhead transmission line, the Ayrum converter station, as well as the existing problems and the proposed solutions. 

Possibilities for synchronization of regional power systems’ operations were discussed during the meeting. Reference was made to the construction of Armenia-Iran and Armenia-Georgia power transmission lines and the development of regional energy cooperation.

Prime Minister Pashinyan stressed the importance of the program in terms of ensuring effective energy communication with Georgia, developing Armenia’s energy infrastructure, promoting regional integration of energy systems, and instructed those in charge to carry on the activities scheduled under the program. --0--
