Customs of Zvartnots International Airport of Armenia obtained new technical equipment including two conveyor belts in the baggage claim area, State Revenue Committee of Armenia reported ARKA.

YEREVAN, July 18. /ARKA/. Customs of Zvartnots International Airport of Armenia obtained new technical equipment including two conveyor belts in the baggage claim area, State Revenue Committee of Armenia reported ARKA. “Due to the technical equipment the process of passenger serving became faster by 50%, and two new belts enabled the customs workers to keep an eye on passengers from six points via Rapiscan inspection system,” Head of Customs in Zvartnots Samvel Safaryan said. According to the source, the airport customs has recently received seven additional computers and expanded “green” and “red” customs lines. Moreover, Safaryan said banking branch opened in the airport that will enable the customers to make payments in the case of baggage overweight . The new equipment will allow to facilitate baggage check-in and claim processes. For easy spoiled products there is a special modern fridge technology. All customs services are available for 24 hours in the baggage claim area. -0-
