Armenia's Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) has approved the investment program of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) for 2022 at a meeting on Wednesday, according to a statement placed on the regulator's website.

The facility's investment program is 1,174.9 bln drams (about $2.9 mln) excluding VAT.
Armenian NPP, the only one in the region of South Caucasus, is located near the town of Metsamor - about 30 km west of Yerevan. The plant annually generates up to 40% of all electric power in Armenia. -0-
