Schneider Electric to bring its technology to Armenia

YEREVAN, August 19, /ARKA/. Armenian prime minister Hovik Abrahamyan received August 18 a delegation headed by Johan Vanderplaetsen, Schneider Electric President for Russia and the CIS, the government press service reported.
It said the prime minister welcomed the French company’s initiative to do business and implement investment projects in Armenia. Hovik Abrahamyan said there are wide opportunities available in Armenia’s energy sector.
Thankful for the reception, Johan Vanderplaetsen noted that they had explored the possibilities of implementing investment projects in Armenia and stressed that there are favorable conditions for electricity production.
He went on to emphasize that they are planning to bring the company’s technology to Armenia, use the latest production technologies and train the necessary personnel in cooperation with universities. -0-
