Visavt company has invested about 4.6 billion drams in a renewable energy project, economic development and investment minister Suren Karayan told a government session today.
YEREVAN March 2. /ARKA/. Visavt company has invested about 4.6 billion drams in a renewable energy project, economic development and investment minister Suren Karayan told a government session today.
The government has exempted today the company from the payment of taxes on imported technological equipment, spare parts, raw materials and supplies which will be used in the implementation of the project.
According to Karayan, the company t has already created 20 new jobs with an average salary of 250 thousand drams.
Visavt is engaged in the construction of a cascade of small hydropower plants with the total capacity of 1.2 MW on the river Tartar in Shahumyan region of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. Earlier it was reported that the company earmarked one billion drams for the purchase of equipment. ($ 1-48675 drama). -0-
